150 Years of Rowing Excellence

Located on historic Boathouse Row in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Malta Boat Club has been dedicated to the sport of rowing since 1860.

Throughout its history, Malta has enjoyed success at every level of national and world competition, and was recently represented at the 2009 World Championships with four members on the US racing team.

Malta currently hosts many active rowers who participate in Schuylkill Navy and Philadelphia rowing events through racing, volunteerism, officiating, and coaching. Malta prides itself in being an active member of the Schuylkill Navy and the Philadelphia rowing community. 2010 is a banner year for the club, marking its 150th year of rowing excellence.
